Prepps, with a $5 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Wefunder. The company has developed a recruitment system that allows colleges to reach and recruit students digitally. The platform allows colleges to search students by career interest and connect with them directly. Christian Dupervil and Derek Cromwell founded Prepps in February 2021. The proceeds of the current crowdfunding round, with a minimum goal of $60,000 and a maximum goal of $107,000, will be used for marketing, hiring a full-time salesperson, and improved software. Prepps helps elite colleges diversify by reaching low-income communities. It helps more students apply to elite institutions and reduced advertising spend for colleges.
