PittMoss, with a $7.5 million valuation cap, is raising funds on Republic. The company makes next-generation soils that are good for the plants and the planet. The PittMoss soils are made from upcycled material and allow more air, water, and nutrients to reach the plants. The products of PittMoss are made from locally-sourced ingredients, like organic paper waste, which are then broken down, processed, and recycled.
